Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011.

actually.. i don't really wanna say bye to 2010. it had been a great year for me, though there were many transition periods. but i think it's bcos of all these transitions that made my year a blast. ;)

in this year, i finally had some experience of what working is like. saw many people, and saw a teeny weeny bit of the dark side of humanity. haha.

but most importantly, i learnt how to cherish the ppl arnd me, especially d. and as i'm typing this, i'm missing him. and i know i'll miss him even more in the next 16 days. ): i don't like army.

and i've been having so much life the past 2 weeks that i somehow miss being no-life, that's why i am enjoying my nua-ing session now! (: later tv marathon for 4.5 hours wahahaha.

but i don't regret going out. many many thanks to d, jn and hw for making the last 2 weeks of 2010 so enjoyable and unforgettable. (:

2011 shall be another great year, i believe. and by the end of 2011, me and d will be really really happyyyy. :D

haha i finally feel it's the holidays. have been battling mosquitoes and the heat when i was at the farm. AHAHA.

had nice brunch with mummy at swensens this morn, then off to meet jianing at cck for kbox! :D haha though it was pricey, but we had a good time, esp. hearing other ppl sing their head off. there was a guy who was quite hilarious. ahaha.

and then dinner + movie at yishun with d and hw! (: haha so long since the 4 of us met up.

somehow i really feel comfortable when i'm with them. it's like we can talk about practically everything, and can pour our hearts out to each other. i also feel closer to d cos when he shares, i can understand him better too! (:

ahh so excited. abt tmr and christmas day itself! :D

didn't have time to check the trial balance though, since they didn't ask for it anyway.

but i think my qn 3 was badly done. i read through the whole passage thrice and i couldn't spot any organisational problems. :O in the last 15 mins i just started writing constructive crap and i think i finished in 10 mins? LOL.

still didn't have time to check though cos i spent the last 5 minutes doing bank reconciliation.

and i guess this will be the end of introductory accounting (unless i fail)

december has so many birthdays. so many celebrations.

december is a month for enjoying, for relaxation, for body massages at bintan.

not for exams.

i hope this is the one and only year i am going to rant about exams. i really have nth against exams. i just wish they can be over soon.

during our comm fund presentation, a girl from my class started her speech with this story.

once, there was an accountant who got into a fatal car accident. his family then wanted to claim life insurance. however, the insurance company told them that they could not claim anything, because the deceased had "no life".

okay please laugh. i thought it was funny though the class was quite calm after she

said the joke. lol.

and i don't wanna end up like that accountant!

i need to exercise.

i need to go kbox.

i need to go shopping. (after i have done enough exercise)

i need to start learning how to cook more dishes. (d, we haven't made gyoza!)

i need to read my novels and finish off my 金庸小说s.

i need to watch my taiwan and korean dramas.

all these after 20 dec. i will persevere, and like what jiayi said, i shall believe in the bell curve. (:

on a side note, she has been my emotional strength for the past sem. whenever i have troubles, i tell her. whenever i'm happy, i tell her. whenever i need a hug, i hug her. :D

i am very demoralised actually. i am still stuck on the same question. ):

i spent more than 2 hrs doing one qn on adjusting trial balance, but i still can't get the answer. i perfectly understand the concept, i have no idea why my calculations are wrong. and the more i calculate, the more i get confused. i'm getting a bit demoralised. ):

i have the

tendency to talk to myself while doing excel.

hope that does not happen during the quiz tonight.

and so, we finished our last presentation (in formal wear!) today. so we decided to take a formal picture tgt. :D

i really feel very lucky to be in this tutorial group. i didn't think that my uni class would be so bonded! i thought uni would be a very lonely journey, like having to go to school and go home yourself everyday, and that you'd have to walk from class to class alone. so thankful that i have this bunch of ppl that take the effort to get the class to bond tgt, and equally thankful that we all get along well! :D

and time sure flies. we've spent 12 weeks mugging for tests and doing assignments and projects tgt, as well as going for regular class gatherings and bday celebrations! i will miss all the times in school that we've spent tgt, and i think i will miss our professors (okay maybe except one).

i hope that ntu will put us in the same tutorial group next sem and that we can continue to stay as a class all the way until we graduate! :D

i hope even more that 2012 will come soon and then d will ord and come to ntu to study with me. (: so looking forward to that day!
